Drilling contractor as Nelvik Norsk Hydro, typically performs drilling from the platforms.

Due to increased drilling activity worldwide, there is presently a shortage of Jack-Up Rigs. It is due to this shortage that Nelvik Norsk Hydro is presently involved with various companies in building Jack-Up drilling rigs. We are in the process of acquiring several new Jack-up Rigs with water depths ranging from 100m to 300m.




Traditionally, oil and gas companies from large integrated production and drilling installations have developed oil and gas fields. Nelvik Norsk Hydro along with strategic partners has experience of operating jack up drilling rigs, drilling exploration wells in different fields worldwide.

In addition to drilling and completing wells in a canter liver mode, we have performed maintenance projects on the wellhead installations.
