“Skjold” Class Series Vessels 2003 – 2010
The Royal Norwegian Navy Skjold class Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) is the world’s fastest combat vessel. The 47 meter, 3 feet draught vessel sets a new standard for speed, sea keeping and stealth capabilities, with its +60 knots top speed and very low Radar Cross Section (RCS). The RCS reducing features are integrated into the composite material structure itself.
